Hi, I’m Hannah — your source for real, results-driven education behind the chair. My specialties are in lived-in color and custom weft installations. I’ve spent over a decade building a career in the beauty industry focused on growth and community from a fresh, unique perspective.

Funny story: I didn’t even know how to curl my hair before beauty school, but I knew one thing for sure. I was not meant to sit in an office. So, I followed that gut feeling straight into cosmetology school at Sampson Community College… and I’ve been all in ever since.

I’m a hairstylist, educator, and extension specialist at Pinup Studio in Raleigh, NC where I’ve had the honor of not only building confidence through hair; but building careers.  I've had the opportunity to train associates right out of school as well as helping seasoned stylists find their spark again.
 

​Throughout my career, I’ve become certified in more than 5 custom extension methods and assisted in developing a Salon Today Top 200 Award winning Education program:  but more than any title or certification, what I’m most proud of is the impact I’ve made helping stylists feel confident, capable, and genuinely excited about their careers.

 

Because here’s the truth: this industry can feel overwhelming. There’s a lot of noise, a lot of “one right way” energy, and a lot of expensive education that doesn’t always translate behind the chair. That’s where I come in. My approach to education is simple: real techniques, real conversations, & real results. Whether I’m teaching extensions, color placement, or business strategies, my goal is to break things down in into manageable stages, so you can take what you learn and use it immediately. No gatekeeping, no fluff, and no ego.

 

When I’m not behind the chair or in the classroom, you’ll probably find me building new ideas for Pinup's Education program, creating content to help stylists grow, or juggling life with my husband, two littles, a house full of animals, and a whole lot of Coca-Cola.
